What is SOMOS?
Somos means "we are" - we are a global community of people studying God's Word together, creating resources and opportunities to empower, multiply and be the church right where we are.

As we consider how the early church in Acts operated and multiplied to other parts of the world (Acts 2:42-47), we can easily identify 4 areas which they were devoted to as followers of Christ:
We clearly see a picture of a community that did life together and were dedicated and committed to do their part, everyone right where they were, at their homes and work place and they would do all of those 4 areas in a regular basis. That's the type of church that we want to be, the type of church that we want to multiply by empowering every believer with the tools and resources that they need in order to open their homes and do life with others. And as a result, just like Acts 2:47 says: "God continue to add those that were being saved". As a result we will see church multiplication and potential locations to more officially plant structured churches.
- Devoted to studying the Word of God.
- Devoted to living in community.
- Devoted to serving one another.
- Devoted to prayer.

OUR VISION
"To create and develop a “small church gatherings” model in order create a culture of believers who understand what it means to expand, multiply and be the church."
HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS:
- EMPOWERING:
Providing innovative digital spiritual resources and study guides designed for "small church gatherings" as well as personal development for the believer. - MULTIPLYING:
By facilitating and hosting this gatherings using our resources and "small church gathering" model, we will see His church multiply. Allowing us to identify potential future "more structured" church plants. - BEING:
Being the followers of Christ like the early church did, we hope to model what it means to be the church. Understanding that we are all called to:
- Study the word of God
- Live in community
- Serve others in love
- Pray at all time
OUR FOUNDERS AND SENIOR PASTOR
Carlos and Jessica Guevara along with their children Milan and Cristian, are our founders and pastoral family. Carlos' desire is to empower people to be the church right where they are, in their communities and neighborhoods and letting God flow through them. Their desire is to see a church that is genuine, loving, compassionate, kind, generous and above all with a serving heart to reach those around them. Being the church right where we are.
